Better sex lives with hormone therapy

A new study of over 2000 women shows that they have better sex lives, less joint pain, and better sleep.

Lead New Zealand researcher Beverley Lawton, director of the Women's Health Research Centre at Otago University, said the new research should give peace of mind to women and their doctors about HRT, which fell out of vogue after a 2002 study linking long-term use with an increased risk of blood clots, breast cancer and heart attacks.  read more »

I fell off the ground...

There is this saying I use all the time to help others get through their crisis - "You can't fall off the ground." Well - I did. Just when I thought it couldn't possibly get worse - it certainly has.

Yesterday I got a call from the state health services who provide us free health care while we are unemployed or not earning any income. We have a threshold of $3,000 a month there abouts before we have to pay into the program. Meaning that is what we can earn - even though we are earning nothing.  read more »
