I just saw this and thought it was interesting: BBC News has an article by David Sokol, a medical ethicist, called "The minefield of medical morals."  It doesn't deal directly with HIV/AIDS, but AIDS presents so many obvious and massive ethical issues, the relevance is obvious.  So, check it out if you're interested.

Fast Food in the Nanny State

So the Lifestyle Nazis on the Los Angeles City Council unanimously approved a measure that prevents any and all new "fast-food" restaurants from opening in South L.A., in order to combat obeisity. Presently, the measure will be in iffect for a year, but already multi-year extensions are on the way.  read more »
